Terms of Sale

These terms cover two things you can buy from us. Part A is our WhatsApp community group, sold on this website. Part B is our video courses (Core, Pro and the Pro Support add-on), sold on our learning platform.

In short:you can cancel the WhatsApp group within 14 days for a refund less the days you were a member. Course video access starts straight away at your request, so it can’t be cancelled for a refund; if you cancel Pro within 14 days, we refund the 1:1 feedback part less the days used. Your legal rights if something goes wrong are not affected.

Part A: WhatsApp community group

A1. About us

  1. A1.1Online Manikin is a trading name of ONLINEMANKIN LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17135168), registered office Flat 20, 38 Meads Court, Carnarvon Road, London E15 4LB ("we", "us"). Contact: info@onlinemanikin.com, WhatsApp +44 7519 670697, onlinemanikin.com/contact.
  2. A1.2These terms apply when you buy membership of our WhatsApp community group as a consumer, for purposes wholly or mainly outside your trade, business or profession. At checkout you confirm that you accept them.

A2. What you are buying

  1. A2.112 months' membership of the Online Manikin ORE Part 2 WhatsApp community group, from the date of purchase. The group is a service: a community of ORE Part 2 candidates where our tutors answer general questions from time to time.
  2. A2.2The group is not 1:1 feedback. Tutors do not mark your work there, and there is no guaranteed reply or reply time. Individual feedback is part of our Pro course (see Part B).
  3. A2.3The group is also included with Pro and with the 3-month Pro Support add-on. Those buyers join through the same checkout using a promotion code we give them; these terms apply to their membership too.
  4. A2.4We are independent. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the General Dental Council or the ORE Part 2 exam provider.

A3. Price and payment

  1. A3.1The price is £80 for 12 months, shown in pounds sterling at checkout. We are not registered for UK VAT; if you buy from outside the UK, local taxes may be added and are shown before you pay.
  2. A3.2Payment is taken in full by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see your full card details.
  3. A3.3It is a one-time payment and does not renew automatically.

A4. Our contract

  1. A4.1Our contract starts when we email you to confirm your purchase. If we can't accept your order (for example, a pricing error), we tell you and refund you in full.

A5. Joining the group

  1. A5.1After you pay, we email you the group invite. You request to join from the WhatsApp number you gave at checkout, and an admin approves you, usually the same day.
  2. A5.2If you give a different number, or your number changes, reply to our email so we can match you.

A6. When your membership ends

  1. A6.1Membership ends 12 months after purchase. We email you a reminder before it ends.
  2. A6.2To stay, buy another 12 months with the same email address. If you don't, we remove you from the group 7 days after your end date.

A7. Group rules

  1. A7.1Be respectful. Do not share our course videos or materials, advertise or sell, or post anything unlawful, offensive or misleading.
  2. A7.2Your phone number is visible. In a WhatsApp group your phone number and profile name are visible to the other members. By joining, you accept this. See our Privacy Policy.
  3. A7.3We may remove anyone who seriously or repeatedly breaks these rules, after a warning where reasonable. If you are removed for breaking the rules, no refund is due.
  4. A7.4WhatsApp is provided by WhatsApp LLC (Meta) under its own terms. We are not responsible for its availability.

A8. Your right to cancel (14 days)

  1. A8.1You may cancel within 14 days of the day our contract starts, without giving a reason.
  2. A8.2At checkout you ask us to give you access straight away, during the cancellation period. If you then cancel within the 14 days, we refund the price less a proportionate amount for the time you were a member, worked out by days (for example, cancelling on day 5 of 365: we keep £1.10 and refund £78.90).
  3. A8.3To cancel, email info@onlinemanikin.com with your name, the email you bought with and the date, or use the model cancellation form below. We refund within 14 days of your cancellation, to your original payment method, and remove you from the group.
  4. A8.4After 14 days you can't cancel for a refund, but your rights below still apply.

A9. If something goes wrong

  1. A9.1We provide the group with reasonable care and skill. If we don't, you can ask us to put it right or, if we can't, to give you a price reduction.
  2. A9.2If the group is unavailable for a significant period because of something we control, we extend your membership by at least the time lost.
  3. A9.3Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

A10. Our liability

  1. A10.1We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude.
  2. A10.2We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made. Tutors' answers are educational guidance, not clinical advice, and are no guarantee of any exam result.
  3. A10.3Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid.

A11. Complaints, privacy and law

  1. A11.1Complaints: info@onlinemanikin.com. We acknowledge within 2 working days and aim to resolve within 14 days.
  2. A11.2We use your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy (onlinemanikin.com/privacy).
  3. A11.3We may update these terms; the version in force when you bought applies to that purchase.
  4. A11.4These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or in your local courts if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland.

Part B: Online Manikin courses (learn.onlinemanikin.com)

B1. About us

  2. B1.2These terms apply when you buy a course on our learning platform, learn.onlinemanikin.com ("the platform"), as a consumer. At checkout you confirm that you accept them.

B2. What you are buying

  1. B2.1Core: access to our pre-recorded ORE Part 2 Dental Manikin video course on the platform for 3 months from purchase. This is digital content.
  2. B2.2Pro: Core video access for 3 months, plus 1:1 feedback for 3 months, plus 12 months in our WhatsApp community group (Part A). The feedback and the group are services.
  3. B2.3Pro Support add-on: for anyone who has ever bought Core. You choose 1, 2 or 3 months of 1:1 feedback from purchase, with video access for the same months added to any Core time you have left. The 3-month option also includes 12 months in the WhatsApp community group. The add-on is training built on the course content and is sold as part of the digital content, not as a separate service.
  4. B2.4The course is independent educational material. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the General Dental Council or the ORE Part 2 exam provider. It does not reproduce exam content, and the exercises and teeth set on the day may differ from those shown.

B3. Prices and payment

  1. B3.1Prices are in pounds sterling, as in the table above. We are not registered for UK VAT; buyers outside the UK may pay local taxes, shown before payment.
  2. B3.2Introductory price. Core is offered at an introductory £225. When the offer ends the price will be £400. Ending the offer does not affect orders already placed.
  3. B3.3If you already have WhatsApp group membership when you buy the 3-month add-on, we reduce its price by £80 (you pay £320) and your existing membership dates stay as they are.
  4. B3.4Payment is taken in full by our payment provider, Stripe. Each purchase is a one-time payment; nothing renews automatically.

B4. Our contract

  1. B4.1Our contract starts when we confirm your order by email. If we can't accept it (for example, a pricing error), we tell you and refund you in full.
  2. B4.2You must give accurate details and keep your login to yourself.

B5. Access to the course

  1. B5.1Access starts immediately when your payment is confirmed. It lasts for the fixed period above and then ends automatically; we do not pause or extend it except where we lose your access through a fault on our side (see "If something goes wrong").
  2. B5.2You can watch the videos as often as you like during your access period, on the platform's website or app.
  3. B5.3We may update or reorganise the course during your access, for example to reflect new official exam guidance. We will not materially reduce what you paid for.
  4. B5.4You need a reasonably modern device, browser and internet connection.

B6. Pro 1:1 feedback

  1. B6.1How it works. You message our business WhatsApp number (+44 7519 670697) from the number you gave at purchase. You send photos of your finished exercises in that personal chat, and a GDC-registered tutor marks them against the exam criteria and replies there.
  2. B6.2Fair use. There is no fixed limit on submissions. Send work so tutors can respond to each piece properly. We may pace or decline submissions that are excessive, repetitive or outside the course.
  3. B6.3Reply times. We aim to reply within 24 hours, and always within 3 days.
  4. B6.4Feedback is educational guidance given with reasonable care and skill. It is not a guarantee of any exam result, and not clinical advice for treating patients.
  5. B6.5Feedback runs in WhatsApp (Meta), separate from the community group; your photos are handled as our Privacy Policy describes.

B7. WhatsApp community group (Pro and the 3-month add-on)

  1. B7.1Where included, group membership is on the terms in Part A (rules, visible phone numbers, removal 7 days after the end date). We give you a promotion code to join at £0.

B8. Your right to cancel

  1. B8.1Video access and the Pro Support add-on (digital content). Before you pay, you must ask us to start your access immediately and confirm that you understand you lose your 14-day right to cancel once access starts. You cannot complete the purchase without this. Because access starts as soon as payment is confirmed, there is no right to cancel the video access or a Pro Support add-on for a refund.
  2. B8.2Cancelling Pro: the feedback part only. If you cancel Pro within 14 days of the contract, the cancellation covers only the 1:1 feedback. The £225 for the course videos is not refunded, and your video access continues to the end of its 3 months.
  3. B8.3What we refund. The feedback part is £375 of the £600 (£600 less the £225 Core price). Because you asked for feedback to start straight away, we refund £375 less a proportionate amount for the days of feedback already provided. Example: cancelling on day 4 of the 90-day feedback period refunds about £358 (£375 less 4/90). Your 1:1 feedback and your WhatsApp group membership end on cancellation.
  4. B8.4To cancel the feedback part, email info@onlinemanikin.com with your name, the email you bought with and the order date, or use the model cancellation form below. We refund within 14 days to your original payment method.

B9. If something goes wrong

  1. B9.1The videos must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described (Consumer Rights Act 2015). If they are not, you may be entitled to a repair or replacement, and if that is not possible, a price reduction or refund.
  2. B9.2Feedback is provided with reasonable care and skill. If it isn't, you can ask us to repeat it or, if we can't, to give you a price reduction.
  3. B9.3If you lose access for a significant period because of a fault on our side, we extend your access by at least the time lost.
  4. B9.4Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer, including the rights above, which apply even though there is no right to cancel the video access.

B10. Your licence and acceptable use

  1. B10.1The videos, materials and feedback belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright.
  2. B10.2You get a personal, non-transferable licence to watch the course for your own study during your access period. You must not download, record, screen-capture, copy, share, sell or upload any of it, share your login, use it to train others, or bypass access controls.
  3. B10.3If we reasonably believe you have broken these rules, we may suspend or end your access without a refund, and take legal action, including claims for damages and injunctions, against anyone who copies or distributes our material. We may watermark videos to trace leaks.

B11. No guarantee of results

  1. B11.1We cannot guarantee that you will pass ORE Part 2. Results depend on your practice, the exercises set on the day and the examiners' assessment.

B12. Our liability

  1. B12.1We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude.
  2. B12.2We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made, or for business losses. The course is educational, not clinical guidance; follow current clinical guidelines and your own professional judgement.
  3. B12.3Otherwise, our total liability for any purchase is limited to the price you paid for it.

B13. Complaints, privacy and law

  1. B13.1Complaints: info@onlinemanikin.com. We acknowledge within 2 working days and aim to resolve within 14 days.
  2. B13.2We use your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy (onlinemanikin.com/privacy). The platform is run for us by Educrypt, which processes your account and viewing data on our behalf.
  3. B13.3We may update these terms; the version in force when you bought applies to that purchase.
  4. B13.4These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or in your local courts if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland.
