Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Online Manikin(“we”, “us”, “our”) is a video course for the ORE Part 2 clinical exam, operated by two GDC-registered NHS dentists based in the United Kingdom. Online Manikin is a trading name of ONLINEMANKIN LTD (registered in England and Wales, company no. 17135168), which is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

2. What personal data we collect

When you join the waitlist we collect the following information you provide:

• Full name
• Email address
• Location (country, optional)
• Track preference (Core, Pro or not sure yet)
• Expected exam date (optional)
• Phone or WhatsApp number (optional)
• Timestamp of submission and record of your consent

When you send us a message through our contact form we collect your name, email address, the topic you choose, your message, and a record of your consent.

We also temporarily process your IP address for abuse prevention (rate limiting). IP addresses are not stored with your waitlist entry.

3. Lawful basis for processing

We process your personal data on the basis of your explicit consent (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), given when you tick the consent checkbox and submit the waitlist form or the contact form. You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us — see Section 7 below.

4. How we use your data

We use your information solely to:

• Send you a confirmation email when you register, with an invitation to our free webinar.
• Send you emails about our free webinars: the joining link, reminders and the recording.
• Send you an email when your chosen course track opens for enrolment.
• Prioritise development of the track you selected based on aggregate interest data.
• Reply to messages you send us through the contact form.
• If you give us your phone number, send you the same webinar and enrolment updates on WhatsApp, or call you if you ask us to. You can ask us to stop at any time.

Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We will not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond the above without obtaining fresh consent.

5. Who we share your data with

Your submission is forwarded to Google Sheets (operated by Google LLC) as a convenient record for our internal use. Contact-form messages are also delivered to our email inbox, hosted by Zoho Mail (Zoho Corporation, EU data centre). Registrations are also added to MailerLite (UAB MailerLite, EU), which we use to send the emails described above. All three act as data processors on our behalf. No other third parties receive your personal data.

WhatsApp Support Group. If you join our WhatsApp support group (an add-on for Core, included with Pro), your phone number and WhatsApp profile name will be visible to the other members of the group, as is standard for WhatsApp groups. WhatsApp is operated by WhatsApp LLC (Meta) under its own privacy policy. You can leave the group at any time.

6. How long we keep your data

We will retain your waitlist entry until the earlier of:

• Six months after the relevant course track launches (after which the launch notification purpose is fulfilled), or
• You request deletion of your data.

We keep contact-form messages for 12 months after our last reply, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Erasure— ask us to delete your data (“right to be forgotten”).
• Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data.
• Portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
• Withdraw consent — stop us processing your data at any time.
• Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests (not applicable here as we rely on consent).

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@onlinemanikin.com. We will respond within one calendar month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

8. Cookies

This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We use Vercel Web Analytics(Vercel Inc., which also hosts the site) to count page visits. It sets no cookies and doesn't identify you: it records only which pages are viewed, the referring site, and your country, browser and device type, in aggregate.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date above. For significant changes we will notify waitlist members by email.
