1. Who we are

Online Manikin(“we”, “us”, “our”) is a pre-launch video course for the ORE Part 2 clinical exam, operated by two GDC-registered NHS dentists based in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

2. What personal data we collect

When you join the waitlist we collect the following information you provide:

Full name
Email address
Location (country)
Track preference (Core or Pro)
Expected exam date (optional)
Timestamp of submission and record of your consent

We also temporarily process your IP address for abuse prevention (rate limiting). IP addresses are not stored with your waitlist entry.

3. Lawful basis for processing

We process your personal data on the basis of your explicit consent (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), given when you tick the consent checkbox and submit the waitlist form. You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us — see Section 7 below.

4. How we use your data

We use your information solely to:

Send you a one-time email when your chosen course track opens for enrolment.
Prioritise development of the track you selected based on aggregate interest data.

We will not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond the above without obtaining fresh consent.

5. Who we share your data with

Your submission is forwarded to Google Sheets (operated by Google LLC) as a convenient record for our internal use. Google LLC acts as a data processor under a Data Processing Agreement with Google. No other third parties receive your personal data.

6. How long we keep your data

We will retain your waitlist entry until the earlier of:

Six months after the relevant course track launches (after which the launch notification purpose is fulfilled), or
You request deletion of your data.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
Erasure— ask us to delete your data (“right to be forgotten”).
Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data.
Portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
Withdraw consent — stop us processing your data at any time.
Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests (not applicable here as we rely on consent).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

8. Cookies

This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. No analytics or third-party scripts are loaded on this page.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date above. For significant changes we will notify waitlist members by email.
